Nicanor Perlas is a multi-awarded changemaker, thought leader, and author, renowned for his relentless 45-year pursuit of a sustainable, equitable world. From leading national and global campaigns that kept the Philippines free from nuclear power to banning hazardous pesticides, and drafting policies to shield Filipinos from elite globalization’s pitfalls, his work spans activism, policymaking, and education.
An author of over 500 writings, including the bestsellers Shaping Globalization: Civil Society, Cultural Power, and Threefolding and Humanity’s Last Stand: The Challenge of Artificial Intelligence, Perlas has inspired countless through his self-transformation workshops in over 15 countries and served as a consultant to the Philippine Senate’s Ad Hoc Committee on Artificial Intelligence.
As a facilitator, Perlas has guided groups of up to 600 participants in co-creating shared visions and strategies.
