The People behind I-RISE

NP workshop pictureNicanor Perlas is a multi-disciplinary writer and speaker, fluent in philosophy and in over a dozen fields of science and technology. He has written over 500 articles and over 70 monographs and books on a diverse range of topics including science, technology, philosophy, integral sustainable development, societal threefolding, self-mastery and spirituality. Nicanor Perlas has been invited as a plenary speaker in more than 100 global events in over 20 countries around the world. He was a recipient of the 2003 Right Livelihood Award, as known as the Alternative Nobel Prize as well as UN’s Global Environmental Award.

Perlas mentors many individuals and institutions. He has also served as Undersecretary Designate and Special Assistant to the Secretary, Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR). He is a co-founder of I-RISE.

 

Administrator/Researcher:

sarah-pic.jpgSarah Mae Sabado is in charge of the overall management and administration of I-RISE in office, website, and events. Sarah is also responsible for the design and lay-out of the site, as well as the new content you read. Aside from I-Rise, she also spends time in helping a Steiner-Waldorf School in Baguio City find its ground.

 

I-RISE also has a large network of like-minded individuals and colleagues who share similar ideas in the different parts of the world.
